With God our trust can be abandoned, utterly free. In Him are no limitations, no flaws, no weaknesses. His judgment is perfect, His knowledge of us is perfect, His love is perfect. God alone is trustworthy.

Expect
Always be in a state of expectancy, and see that you leave room for God to come in as He likes.

Valuable
You are valuable just because you exist. Not because of what you do or what have done, but simply because you are.
Isaiah 43:1 But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.

Running the Race
As many of you seniors face the final year of your high school education, take into consideration how you will finish. The Bible, in Hebrews 12: 1 - 2, likens our faith in Jesus Christ to a race, a very fitting analogy. In these encouraging verses, the author of Hebrews encourages us to throw off "every weight that so easily ensnares us, and run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith..." As you are running the high school race, be mindful of your faith, and determine that, with God's help, you will finish the race well. Do not be encumbered with snares such as drinking, drugs, pornography, lust, and the like, but fix your eyes on Jesus. And in doing so you will leave a lasting legacy of faithfulness and Godliness to your friends - one that will not easily be forgotten.
